Vermont, Early Summer...

Dear Patron,

June Print Club subscribers will be excited to note that I sent your photographs out last week. You should be receiving them soon! -- Here is a preview of the photo that's included in the package.

For anyone not yet subscribed to the print club and curious what it entails, check out my paid access tiers where it explains what's included. I'm working hard on some upgrades to the site, and to the print packages which will launch later this summer, so please be on the lookout for that ! In the meantime, please enjoy these summer photographs.

Today I am sharing photographs of Ben by Rocker River in Vermont as well as photographs we took inside by a pastel meadow I drew for the occasion.

Drawing inspiration from one of my favorite films, The Red Shoes, I wanted to create a set that I could use to weave together photographs from the outside --something that mirrored real life-- with something more fanciful.

It was strawberry season in late June when Ben was visiting me in Vermont last summer. We created a cute little summer picnic inside and photographed in dancer-like poses which mimicked the scenes from the film. Throughout the visit, Ben and I visited the river, ate cakes I made with whipped cream and honey, and danced naked in the woods.

I hope these scenes will inspire a you to spend more time naked this summer.

Have a great week !

x
Matthew
